Welcome to the 58th season of Brandywine Polo. Over the years, thousands of people have made Brandywine Polo their summer afternoon destination for relaxed entertainment in a beautiful country atmosphere. Staff, management, volunteers and players are working hard to make it the best season ever!
This year's club manager is Juan Martinez Baez, a favorite of Brandywine Polo Club fans for a number of years. Juan has played professionally for thirteen years and holds a 5 goal rating. He was featured on the cover of the 2004 season's polo program in a spectacular photo by Jim Graham.
By popular demand, we're bringing back reserved field-side parking for those fans that used to rush out early on Sundays to get their favorite parking spots. Box seating is available for corporate and business entertainment in grand style – or for elegant personal entertainment field-side. Contact Brandywine Polo's marketing office for details.
Brandywine Polo is a great place to have a company picnic, family party, school reunion , whatever occasion calls for a fun place to have a different kind of party. Dates available all summer. Businesses find corporate entertaining easy and fun too. Sponsor a team…present the trophies…there are lots of ways to participate. Inquire at the Brandywine Polo Club business office for more details.
Matches will be played at 3 pm Sundays from June through mid-September. Many of our favorite players will be returning as well as several new players with varied skill levels. There are few team sports as exciting and as beautiful as polo. Veteran polo fans as well as neophytes can enjoy watching “ the game within the game ” – the skill and horsemanship of the players, the nimble and amazing movements of the polo ponies, the strategies, the lucky shots, the long-practiced strokes, and ultimately the little white ball whizzing down the field and between the goal posts.
Best of all, the polo environment is family-friendly and relaxing . Bring a simple picnic or a fancy tailgate. Bring your camera to capture the moments. Bring old friends, make new ones. Come early, stay late, and attend frequently. You'll be glad you did.
